Two arrested in Broughton shootings

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police arrested two suspects in Downtown Savannah shootings that occurred early Sunday morning.

Rajed Ervin, 22, of the 2200 block of Mason Drive, was detained Sunday morning near the scene. Sean Brooks, 24, of the 2200 block of East 38th Street,was arrested Monday morning at his residence. Both are charged with aggravated assault.

They are believed to be involved with shootings on the 200 block of East Broughton Street just after 1 a.m., Sunday, that left a 25-year-old male and a 19-year-old female with non-life threatening wounds.

Patrol officers were called to Club Dosha on the 100 block to break up a fight when shots were fired.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
