The Collection -- The Gallery a partnership of 13 artists, located in City Market, announce that a space has been created in their downstairs gallery called The Collection. The public is invited to join the artists for the opening reception Saturday, Nov. 6 from 4- 7p.m.

Newton Center shows -- SCADs Earle W. Newton Center for British-American Studies at 227 MLK Jr. Blvd. presents three fall exhibitions: The Creators: English Artists, Architects and Writers of the 17th19th Centuries; Focus on Political Satire: The Hogarth Election Series; and The Illustrated Mark Twain.
