Aug. 11: Today's events 

Here's what's going on today (Saturday, August 11): Guitarists Eric Culberson, Georgia Kyle Shiver and Roy Swindelle play the blues on homemade cigar box guitars, remarkable amplified instruments, in a concert starting at 6:45 p.m. at the Ships of the Sea Museum. Theater comedy: Avenue Q is at Bay Street Theatre (7:30 p.m.) and What the Butler Saw has two shows at Muse Arts Warehouse (3 and 8 p.m.). In the clubs, catch Whaleboat at Blowin' Smoke BBQ, England in 1819 at the Jinx, the Resuscitators at Live Wire, Death is a Dialogue at Screamin' Mimi's and The Head at the Wormhole.
