Aug. 8: Today's events

Here's what's going on today (Wednesday, Aug. 8): The Psychotronic Film Society salutes yet another dead guy tonight with a "mystery film" starring the late, great Sherman Hemsley. It screens at the Sentient Bean at 8 p.m. Club-wise, check out Jon Lee's Apparitions at the Warehouse, the Hitman at Bay Street Blues, the Royal Noise at Molly MacPherson's, and So Is the Tongue (with Magic Places) at the Wormhole.
