The Best of Savannah

Best Local Electronic Artist

Sunglow

Another busy bee, Daniel Lynch is a man of versatility, beating the devil outta his drums in his mainstay, Crazy Bag Lady, and with The Toxic Shock (skillfully drumming with a bag over his head for the latter). But if you’re one to venture ‘round Congress Street during the witching hour, you’re sure to have stumbled across a Sunglow set. You’ll know it by the packed dance floor and the pulsating beat of Lynch’s weirdo club bangers. As an artist who’s never not writing new material, Lynch put out two tapes this year with Furious Hooves: the critically-acclaimed Nothing Doing, and a reissue of an early set of songs, Jalopy.

Runner-up: Jeff Zagers
