• An officer responding to the report of a person being cut was waved down at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 31st Street about “an affray between two women in front of a beauty salon.” One officer interviewed one of the women, while the other interviewed the other. One woman’s hand was cut during the affray. There were several witnesses who spoke to police about the incident.

• A woman told police she had received a threatening phone call while she was at work. She said “the caller asked her name, then verified that she had two children.” The caller also said the victim was going to have another child. The caller never threatened the woman, but did call her a “bitch.” She was given a case report number.

• A local candidate called police after his 4-foot campaign sign disappeared from Skidaway Road. The sign was seen one day, but was missing the next. It was valued at $50. The man was given a case report number.

• A mounted patrol officer observed a man sleeping near the Forsyth Park fountain. The man stated “he had been warned in the past about sleeping in the park.” He was charged with private use of a public park and taken to the Chatham County Detention Center. A knife he was carrying was logged into the property room.
