ONE hell of a bill, this five-band lineup has kind of turned into a mini No Control Fest/EP release for Cusses’ Here Comes the Rat EP. Seriously, this is a really good show if you like rock ‘n’ roll, so get there early and stay ‘til the wee hours.

Repping Savannah, we’ve got, of course, Cusses, who will be giving out a free CD with every entry. Here Comes the Rat is a teaser of songs from their Golden Rat LP, and it’s a fine sampling of the feverish and dynamic full-length. After a month off, Crazy Bag Lady had an explosive return at Southern Pine Company, opening for Fucked Up—it’s good to see them back in action. Generation Pill are always a treat, and, now that all members are over 21, are regulars on the Hang Fire bracket.

Charleston band Fiasco comes through from time to time; it’s good to see them back. And Greensboro’s The Bronzed Chorus are frequent Cusses bill sharers—the dancey post-rock duo is super-fun live.
