HALLMARK haters are quick to remind that February 14 is just another day in the calendar year—which means that, even with the occasion calls for unfettered adoration of your significant other, quarrels can still happen.

If things are tense and sitting in a room cloaked in darkness sounds like the only way you could possibly stand each other, good news! Valentine’s marks the kick-off of Punk Rock Movie Night at the Bean, and they’re starting the new tradition with one of the most infamous love stories ever told: Sid and Nancy.

A cult classic following the, erm, tumultuous relationship between the Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious (Gary Oldman in a career-defining role) and girlfriend Nancy Spungen (Chloe Webb), the problems between rock ‘n’ roll’s most notorious couple (like, uh, stabbing) are sure to make any spats between you and your valentine seem petty.
