Lost Shaker of Salt Bar Crawl 10th Annual Scavenger Hunt @Congress St Social Club

CALLING all Parrot Heads: the Savannah Parrot Head Club has teamed up with Bar Crawl Savannah to host a Jimmy Buffett-themed scavenger hunt! Participants can enter as individual or as a two-to-ten-player team.

The hunt itself takes place from 12-4 p.m. with an awards ceremony and afterparty to follow at Savannah Smiles.

Bar Crawl Savannah and your local Parrot Heads have scattered novelty salt shakers throughout bars and restaurants in downtown Savannah. Your job as a participant is to track down those shakers, write a descripton of the shaker you’ve discovered, and snap a pic of yourself doing “specific fun things” (more details when you check in). Make sure your phone’s charged, because you must have a record of your hunt in order to get any prizes.

Speaking of prizes, you can land in first, second, and third place, and there’s also a raffle with ten tantalizing packages available. Drawing for the raffle kicks off at 4 p.m. at Savannah Smiles; throw in $20 for 25 tickets. The buyer gets to choose the distrubtion of tickets among the prize package choices.

If you wanna get your Margaritaville on for the whole weekend, head to the pre-party on Friday, May 6 at B&D Burgers Congress Street. You can get registered, purchase raffle tickets, and listen to the tunes of Lyn Avenue starting at 7 p.m. The pre-party moves to Bay Street Blues for karaoke at 10 p.m.

Saturday, May 7, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., 21+, $25 per person
