Eric Culberson Blues Band

High Velocity

Local Southern/classic rock/modern country cover band with a huge setlist. Wed., Fri. - Sat., 9 pm, Gilley’s (Hinesville). 

The Long Awaited

Powerhouse modern and classic rock covers featuring vocalist/guitarist Thomas Claxton and many local music scene veterans. Fri., 10 pm, Wild Wing Café. 

Brenda Morie

This gifted Canadian jazz flutist recently relocated to Savannah. Her intimate approach to sultry vocals has drawn comparisons to the great Julie London. Sat., 8 pm, Mansion on Forsyth Park.

Pelusa Band

Dusty, dobro and harmonica-fueled male/female Americana duo from Seattle with a great sense of groove, and the type of highly visual lyricism that helped defined The Band (an avowed influence). Sat., 8 pm, The Sentient Bean Coffeehouse - ALL-AGES. 

The Permanent Tourists

Tight, funky party band with a wide repertoire and chops to spare. Sat., 9 pm, Tantra Lounge. 

Phantom Wingo

Gritty, soulful, twin-guitar Southern rock band that leans more toward Allman Bros. and Black Crowes-style explorations than Outlaws-style yahoo-isms. Thurs., 9 pm, Fiddler’s Crab House (River St.) + Fri., 9 pm, French Quarter Café (Statesboro) + Sat., 7 pm, North Beach Grill (Tybee).

Raquy & The Cavemen

This unusual booking is hotly anticipated by those already familiar with this N.Y.-based group that specializes in authentic Middle Eastern and Arabic drumming. With a guest appearance by local Belly-Dancer Raluca Ghiban. Tues., 8 pm, The Sentient Bean - ALL-AGES.  

Steph Taylor

Berklee-educated singer/guitarist/pianist whose dark, confessional pop is both ultra-catchy, and far from pedestrian. With Memphis’ guitarist/songwriter Emily White. Sun., 8 pm, The Sentient Bean - ALL-AGES. 

The Train Wrecks

The Tony Tyler Trance

WormsLoew (acoustic)

An unplugged show from this young, up-and-coming local Southern rock/Americana/Y’all-ternative group that looks to folks like Jupiter Coyote and the Drive-By Truckers for inspiration, and has caught the attention of Coyote’s management. Thurs., 7 pm, Dawg House Grill.
