Hazel Virtue

One of the best alternative rock bands in our immediate region, this Charleston/Savannah hybrid act has earned a devoted following in our area for their well-crafted, radio-friendly crunch-pop (with a touch of psychedelia). If you dig Sparklehorse, you may dig these guys. Thurs., 10 pm, Deja Groove.

Two Blue

Unclennis & The Debutante Balls

New local trio fronted by guitarist Lennis Hyett, playing original tunes he’s written over the last 20 years that combine jazz, country, blues and a sense of tongue-in-cheek misogyny (also featuring multi-instrumentalist Joe Nelson and bassist Seb “Crafty” Edwards). Fri., 8 pm, The Sentient Bean.

The Jimmy Wolling Band
