Absylom Rising

Extremely eclectic dance-oriented jam quartet from Oxford Mississippi that plays close to 200 dates a year, They blend elements of bluegrass, classic rock, funk and traditional country, and are known for tight vocal harmonies that they liken to those of Crosby, Still and Nash. Agents of The Sun

The Christy Alan Band

Beach, dance, rock and funk hits from this Island stalwart, whose group features “Ragman” (formerly of local metalheads Rehab), and keyboardist Ramona Jeffries. Fri. - Sat., Fannies on The Beach (Tybee).

The Back River Ramblers

Fox Trotsky

Pretty Shady Chicken

The Six Million Dollar Band

The Mike Suman Quartet

The former leader of the Miami Heat jazz fusion group heads this band. He sings, plays fleugel horn and trumpet. He won 2nd place in the 2004 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and has backed up Bob Hope and the human skeleton herself, Joan Rivers. Fri. - Sat., The Jazz Corner (Hilton Head).
