Oct. 9: Today's events

Here’s what’s going on today (Tuesday, Oct. 9): It’s “Tongue” night at the Sentient Bean – an open mic forum for poetry, spoken word and music, and it starts at 8 p.m. At 5 p.m., the Psychotronic Film Society has free screenings of two documentaries about 1970s Hollywood (at Muse Arts Warehouse). Catch the Womack Family Band at the Wormhole, the Resolvers at Live Wire, or Kevin Church at Lulu’s Chocolate Bar. The new Connect will be online starting at noon.
