IF YOU attended “The ‘V’ Kickoff Event,” Savannah Stopover’s November ’14 bash with Futurebirds, you’re well-aware of the fun that can be had when the local brewery partners with a killer festival. And I’m sure I don’t just speak for myself when I say that my kitchen cabinets now have a section dedicated to limited edition pint glasses from these wonderful team-ups.
Even when I’m filling my souvenir with OJ in the morning, it’s fun to have a little reminder of good music, thriving local businesses, and the warmth of community that surrounds such events. Let’s do it again, shall we?
As Mississippi blues guitarist Jarekus Singleton and his band take the stage, attendees can try out the Southbound and Savannah Music Festival collaborative beverage, the Rollin’ & Tumblin’ IPA. It’ll be canned in time for the fest, but on Friday, you can get it on draft, served in a special Savannah Music Festival pint glass.
If you want to hear the full lineup of exciting Savannah Music Festival acts before everybody else does, Southbound is the place to be.
Friday, February 6, 8 p.m., $20 advance, $20 at door.
