"PUNK'S not dead, it’s just barely breathing,” proclaims Burns Like Fire in their song “Last Dance.” But for all y’all who got the chance to see Orlando’s The Attack last time they were in town, you know punk rock is alive and well; this lineup will leave the crowd sweating, dripping and barely breathing after a scorcher of a set.
The Attack throws it back to punk rock’s bare-boned, scrappy roots: fast and punchy tempos, surly, brash vocals, and chunky guitars with a skate-punk gloss. They recently did a few dates with beloved Irish punks Flogging Molly, bringing their big sound to even bigger stages.
Athens foursome Burns Like Fire dishes out melodic sing-along punk with muscular riffs and brash beats. In their five years as a band, they’ve become Athens’ prime candidate to kick off killer shows, opening for Against Me!, Bad Religion, The Queers, and more.
Savannah’s Jeff Two-Names and the Born Agains start the night.
