A man called police to report that his brother had come to his house drunk. When he refused to let his brother inside, the brother sat in his vehicle across the street and continued drinking. An officer approached the vehicle and asked him if he was drinking. The suspect replied, I just made myself a cocktail. He was asked to step outside the vehicle. There was a cup with an alcoholic beverage inside. The man said he had just gotten out of jail and was homeless. He was arrested.
A Bush Road resident awoke at 2 a.m. to the sound of his dog barking. He walked outside and heard male voices arguing and cursing. A few moments later, a vehicle left the scene with its headlights off. After awaking the next morning, the man noticed a truck was sitting where he had heard the voices. He noticed it had an out-of-county tag and there appeared to be a scuffle area with a spent .22 caliber shell casing and one .22 caliber shell that had not been fired. Police searched the area, and attempted to contact the owner of the truck.
Police were called in response to a call that a woman was not breathing. When they arrived, EMS was on the scene and administering aid to the woman. They learned the woman has diabetes and kidney problems. She has guardianship of three grandchildren, who discovered that their grandmother was not moving and not breathing. They ran to the neighbors, who called 911.
