Ampersand brings the local sister duo The Rosies upstairs to Tucker's Lounge for the second time this Friday. Energetic, youthful harmonies have always been their hallmark, but an increasingly well honed and produced sound are taking Kyrsten and Kourtney Roseman to a new level these days, sonically speaking. Gathering a local following through frequent, diverse gigs – this past week saw them at Moon River, The Collins Quarter, The Tree House, and First Presbyterian – The Rosies are preparing for the release of a new album, Efflorescence. A teaser from the album, "Angel's Speeches," is making the rounds and sounds quite impressive.
