Bayou Café

Arguably River Street's main locals' hangout, Bayou also serves excellent Cajun-inspired eats until closing.

Betty Bombers

This institution off Forsyth Park serves old-fashioned, all-American delights, including great burgers, nachos, and milkshakes. The griddle's hot 'til 11 p.m. weekdays and 1 a.m. weekends.

Boomy's

Bangin' Thai fusion hot from the kitchen until 2 a.m., cooked up by local legend Rachel "Lady Saigon" Tran.

B&D Burgers

Awesome chocolate shakes, killer onion rings, famous burgers. Kitchen closes about midnight.

Chromatic Dragon

An expansive geek culture-themed menu is available until 2 a.m. on weekends.

Churchill's Pub

Excellent late night pub food menu served until 1 a.m.

Congress Street Market

Not to be confused with Congress Street Social Club, this spot across from The Lady & Sons serves fried chicken and biscuits into the wee hours.

Grilled burgers and dogs are available out on the courtyard until well after midnight.

This new spot on Whitaker right near Sweet Melissa's offers burgers, chicken tenders and mac 'n' cheese balls.

IHOP

The closest one to downtown is on East Victory Drive, across from Whole Foods.

J.J.'s Bar & Grill

The Bay Street nightspot serves pub food and pizza until closing time.

Kevin Barry's

River Street institution serves great pub-style food until right around midnight/12:30.

McDonough's

Fuel up for your karaoke with some top-notch burgers, steaks, and other great food served well after midnight. Breakfast is served all day!

Parker's Market Urban Gourmet

Downtown institution on Drayton Street, serving fresh, tasty, quick-grab food ranging from gourmet quiches to their famous chicken biscuits. Miles above usual convenience store standards, Parker's is open 24/7.

The Rail Pub

Their late-night one-dollar "Rail Dogs"—a plain dog on a slice of white bread—are sort of an under-the-radar phenomenon. Also: free peanuts.

Savannah Smiles

Solid late night menu until 2 a.m. Pro-tip: you don't have to pay the cover if your ID has a local address.

Spudnik

Holding down the west end of Broughton is this tasty little gourmet baked potato spot, open til 4 a.m. on weekends.

Sushi Zen

Get your sushi fix downtown on MLK Blvd. until 4 a.m. on weekend nights.

Sweet Melissa's

Downtown's most legendary late-night food stop cranks out pizzas until 4 a.m. on the corner of Whitaker and Congress Streets.

Treylor Park

This Bay Street eatery, a sit-down, Southern comfort food-themed restaurant, is open until midnight.

Waffle House

FYI, there's one a just short drive east of downtown on President.

Warehouse

Tasty pub-style eats served til late on River Street. Might we recommend the fries?

Wet Willie's

Late night bar food on River Street to go with that delicious adult slushie.

Wild Wing Café

City Market staple serves a late-night menu until 1 a.m.
