Fort Pulaski National Monument will honor our nation’s veterans with a special living history weekend. The 48th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment Reactivated returns once again to garrison Fort Pulaski. The 48th spent over a year in 1862-63 living on the coast of Georgia after the fall of the fort. Witness the daily routine of a regiment on garrison duty as our living historians bring the American Civil War to life. There will be a number of programs and demonstrations for the whole family to enjoy.
