Posted on Fri, Oct 11, 2013 at 4:33 PM

A 15-year-old student has been hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle while walking on a sidewalk near Windsor Forest High School this morning.

Charges are pending against Jeanenne Marx, 54, who was driving a 2007 Ford Fusion that left the roadway and struck the student who was walking north along the west edge of Largo Drive about 7:33 a.m. The Fusion was traveling south on Largo Drive at Winwood Drive.

The student was transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment.
