The victim, a 20-year-old female, was reportedly parked at a dead end on Grove Point Road, when approached by an unknown male who demanded her vehicle. The victim reportedly refused and was then sexually assaulted by the suspect.

"This event was reported to SCMPD on Monday," notes Eunicia Baker of the SCMPD's Public Affairs Office.

The suspect is described as having a medium build and tanned skin. He wore a ball cap during the incident. The suspect was picked up in a navy blue van, resembling a small camper, with an opening on the roof and a ladder attached to its side. Several other males were in the van.
