Two teens shot on Westside

Detectives are investigating a shooting that injured two teens Wednesday afternoon Feb. 17.

"At approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Worth Street, where a 15-year-old male was located suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Reportedly, the victim was shot at 48th and Bulloch streets, then transported by an unknown vehicle to the Worth Street location," police say.

"Moments later, officers responded to the 700 block of Atlanta Street, where a 16-year-old male was found with serious injuries from gunshot wounds as well. ShotSpotter alerts were also received in the area at the time of the event. Both victims were transported to Memorial University Medical Center."
