Police investigate shooting on Hudson St.

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are investigating the shooting of Christopher Cooper, 23, on Tuesday, Apr. 19 in the 2100 block of Hudson Street.

At about 11:50 p.m., Cooper arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. Officers spoke with him there and were able to locate a crime scene in the 2100 block of Hudson Street. Cooper suffered life-threatening injuries and is listed in critical condition at this time.

"The actual circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation," says Corporal Hillary Nielsen.
