Hyatt Regency Savannah, a full-service, contemporary waterfront hotel, is pleased to announce the opening of Moss + Oak Savannah Eatery.
The new restaurant, which focuses on fresh ingredients and regional heritage, features a traditional dining space, bar, and quick-stop market. Led by executive chef James Morin, the menu will feature primarily Savannah-style cast iron preparation and use seasonal ingredients supplied by top-tier local farms.
Executive chef James Morin’s modern spin on traditional low-country cuisine and passion for sourcing produce from local farmers, makes for an outstanding cultural experience while retaining the casual charm Savannah has made famous.
The dining space within Moss + Oak Savannah Eatery is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will serve authentic southern dishes such as Shrimp and Grits, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and She Crab Soup for lunch and dinner.
Moss + Oak Bar will feature local and regional beer and liquor in addition to signature cocktails. The bar is open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to midnight.
Moss + Oak Market is the hotel’s grab and go shop for fresh-made items such as flavorful salads, sandwiches, pastries and Starbucks Coffee. This quick-fix shop is best suited for guests of the hotel who are looking to pick up a smaller meal or snack to-go.
Outdoor patio seating is available and includes two fire pits, heat lamps, and a retractable awning.
