No Man's Land

Throughout the past year, among many other artistic endeavors, Maggie Hayes has been steadily researching and absorbing the imagery and psychology behind the Jungian archetypes of the warrior and the lover. She will transform the all new, 1,600 square foot Welmont Gallery space into an exploration of the beauty and darkness of man. Rather than a traditional opening reception, she is hosting a ticketed dinner package, catered by Chef Donovan Smith of Sweet Spice Jamaican Restaurant. Along with a five-course Caribbean dinner, the ticket price will also include beverages, a limited edition 18” x 24” screen print with original watercolor detail, and a folio book of postcards from the show, (each item will be hand-signed and numbered by the artist). The evening is limited to 30 guests to ensure an intimate and exclusive experience of the exhibit (prices are $65 until January 31st and increase to $75 February 1st up until day of the event or sell out). An informal closing reception will also take place February 19th and is open to the public. Gallery hours will also take place throughout the week.
