This installation focuses on the visual underbook that is included in-between the text chapters in Susan Falls' book White Gold: Stories of Breast Milk Sharing (University of Nebraska Press, 2017). The book is an ethnography (an anthropological study of a community) that explores the motivations, mechanics, and implications of a heterarchical network for sharing breast milk. The analysis is based on the work of architect Lebbeus Woods, the philosopher Alphonso Lingis, and the neurophysiologist/cybernetician Warren McCulloch.
