Youth Ocean Conservation Summit

Calling all middle and high school students: UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant will host the state’s eighth annual Youth Ocean Conservation Summit (YOCS) on Saturday, February 26. The summit's theme will be “YOUR Connection to the Coast”. The summit will take place at the UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium on Skidaway Island near Savannah. YOCS is designed to empower middle and high school students across the country with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to successfully implement ocean conservation projects in their local communities. YOCS is offered to students in grades 6-12. Registration is required.
