On Saturday, join members of the 22nd GA Heavy Artillery as they prepare to follow Gen. Hardee's orders to render the fort useless to the Union Army and evacuate. On Sunday, learn about the conditions of the fort and discover what happened during the Union Occupation. Get to know the 55th Massachusetts, an African American unit that fought in a number of battles.Activities include musket demonstrations, cannon drill and firing and marching. Call for details.
