Re: “Savannah City Council votes to move iconic Waving Girl statue to west end of River Street

The legacy of this outgoing City Council was their vote. I will always remember it alongside that Fire Fee folly. December 31st can't get here quick enough.

Re: “Savannah City Council votes to move iconic Waving Girl statue to west end of River Street

Moving The Waving Girl is in some way for the current administration to somehow get back at the constituents who did not vote for most of them to stay. It's their way of saying THANKS for not voting for me, at least those that didn't win in the recent elections. Van also brought up a good point that they're making a vote without any public input. We all need to let them know to leave the statue right where it is. Money may talk but we, the citizens of Savannah, have MUCH louder voices!

Re: “Union Mission set to serve 300 Thanksgiving meals to the needy

Old Savannah City Mission also feeds tons on T-giving,
but the biggest Bang for the Buck when it comes to feeding people is hands down Second Harvest of Savannah.

For $200 you can feed somewhere around 1,000 people.....

Re: “ELECTION 2019: Eddie DeLoach, Tony Thomas headed to runoffs; incumbents lose across the board

There's not one candidate running that doesn't want to disarm law-abiding gun owners so that only CRIMINALS will have guns.....

Disgusting !

Do they honestly think that Criminals, who already break laws re: Rape, Murder, etc.
will magically obey their silly gun laws???
Why do they all want us to be unarmed soft targets??

These half-witted bozos swear to uphold the US Constitution, then set about destroying it. They ought to be brought to trial for treason.

Re: “Savannah City Council passes gun control resolution

AMEN Tony,,,
these liberal fools think that disarming honest law-abiding citizens will somehow make psychos and criminals safer ? ? ?

First of all, Red Flag laws are Unconstitutional as they rob people of their Due Process re their 2nd Amendment rights,, especially if a neighbor calls in a psycho complaint to the cops cuz he's pi55ed my dog is shiiting in his yard...

2nd of all, there no such thing as an "Assault Rifle" ! ! !
Assault Rifle refers to a FULL Automatic rifle like the military has,, which the public doesn't have (oh, the AR in AR-15 stands for the maker: Armalite Rifle) DOH ! !

And who are YOU to tell me I can only use 10 rounds I can use to defend my family when FOUR thugs Home Invade me ? ? ? ? ?

Thank God we have REAL decision makers in ATL that are smarter than our own liberal idiots who think CRIMINALS and Psychos care anything about your silly guns laws....

Re: “Panhandle Slim designs T-shirt for Bahamas relief

How come there is no photo or illustration accompanying this story? It would help to know what the T-shirt looks like.

Re: “Savannah City Council passes gun control resolution

In stead of addressing the real Crime Problems of Savannah, and doing things to stop the Criminals. they rather disarm Law abiding American's so we will be waiting Victim's for Savannah Criminal's.

Re: “Savannah City Council passes gun control resolution

Savannah, The City that has gone to crap, because of the Elected idiots who don't have a clue what it is they are suppose to be doing.

They like the rest of the Democratic Party wants to disarm us, so when we are Robbed in Savannah, or even killed in Savannah, we will not be able to defend our Self's.

I have a Solution for that, I will not Visit Savannah or Spend any of my Money in Savannah.

Boycott Savannah, the life you save may be your own.

Re: “Blackberry Smoke announce Johnny Mercer Theatre performance

Saw them on Youtube a time or two and thought they were alright. Laura Cox covered one of their tracks (she did a better job than they did.) They do decent covers, but I bought one of their CD's and was much disappointed. Sounded like they just played the same track over and over.

Re: “Union Mission fundraiser tops $250,000

a fundraiser to pay for cleaning up the relentless litter from residents of the Old Savannah City Mission on Bull St. in Starland would be welcome. I live close by and do not mind that it's there. But I see them littering constantly. It's disgusting.
