Sulfur Studios’ Drive Thru Art Box is always on view at 2439 Habersham Street in the parking lot of Green Truck Pub.
On display through March 8, artist and curator Peter E. Roberts’ “30 plus Days of Arteests” celebrates fellow Savannah artists such as Jose Ray, Bud Green, Mary Hartman, and A. J Perez. Almost like an advent calendar, individual boxes open to reveal Roberts’ bespoke papercut ‘headcases’ of each artist, with a unique item atop their head.
For example, painter Bellamy Murphy is crowned with a crab, a crustacean that regularly appears in her coastal artwork. Take a gander at the current installation and be prepared to be amused and delighted!
