Chatham Area Transit (CAT) will offer
Zero-Fare rides today, to support voter participation on
Primary Election Day in Chatham County. The
initiative aims to remove transportation barriers and ensure that all residents have access to
polling sites.
All CAT routes, including Fixed-Route and Paratransit services, will operate
zero-fare from 5 am to 10 pm.
Polling sites in Chatham County are open to voters Tuesday from 7 am to 7 pm.
The enhancement program is designed as a service to provide convenient, reliable transportation for
voters throughout the county.
