This is the problem with us white liberals we assume whatever we think and do is going to be okay. I assume no black staff (I can not think of one right off the bat) was there to help choose the cover and if there is it a secure enough environment to express themselves? As whites we assume our images of the world are right because we are good people who mean well. This is the presumption of privilege. How many other times do we insult or do some other latent racist thing and are not aware? Connect Savannah join your did not mean anything by it Savannah Arts Academy student comrades.

    Tim,
Your ignorance of vegetarian food may be showing. I have no problem finding oral satisfaction without meat. That you are in a restaurant no one else is in may be a first clue that even vegetarians are not that fond of it. Secondly, it reports itself as a fast food vegetarian restaurant. So would you review McDonalds as having first class meat dishes? Probably not. Vegetarian food and fast is almost oxymoronic. Thirdly, that the restaurant is one of the few fast food vegetarian restaurants in the United States may mean there is a learning curve for it and others (And its novelty may be the reason vegetarians are excited). If you want a tasty sandwich try the baked cheese and avocado sandwich at the Brighter Day Deli. They can not make them fast enough for us vegetarians because carnivores keep eating them faster than they can make them :).
