"Back in the day" when we were meeting in person at the Early Learning College at Parent University, 100 Black Men would have their Youth Leadership Academy sessions in the same school during the same time. It was always a joy to see the young gentlemen and ladies arrive.
The non-action of the City of Savannah concerning the contract with the Savannah Fire Department. Watch the City Clowncil meeting of August 6th. Council and attorney acted as if they'd never heard of the problem as presented by the Local Union 574. The firefighters have been working without a valid contract since June 2012. (I may have the date wrong). The conversation riled the City attorney - "I was out of town... my assistant...". Bordeaux and Thomas questioned the attorney. Watch the show on SGTV.
