I applaud Mr. Zapp for objectively laying out the facts and appreciate how clear he makes what the college has tried to make cloudy. While I don't dispute the fact that there are many positive aspects to having SCAD in our community, I am not so blinded by their marketing campaign that I'm not able to see the equally numerous negatives that it also brings. At the end of the day, it's a shame that leadership doesn't spend as much time or effort on being a good community member as they do on figuring out how to exploit the system to their personal financial advantage.
