    A couple of things, Kayla.
    The values of the paintings vary from about $100.00 to a record price of $40,000.00+ with many sales in five figures. This depends upon the varying talent within the group and is based upon supply and demand among other factors. Many are available for sale in a highly competitive unique collectibles market. Most sell for $100.00 to $7500.00.
    Your history is correct except that 16 of them are still actively painting and aggressively marketing their work. They also knocked on doors and set up displays in banks, offices and courthouses throughout the state of Florida
    There have been eight books written and three documentaries about the highwaymen offered to the public and sold to PBS, the best of which was done in 2003, and is usually shown nationally during Black History Month.
