Dave Kyler is a treasure to our coast. He is one of the most articulate and reasoned thought leaders we have and, fortunately, he has focused his highly tuned skills on protecting and sustaining the natural resources of Georgia's coast and barrier islands. There is no other coastal environmental leader who has been more consistent in message and focus than Dave Kyler has in the last 20 years. This and the fact that he has gotten so much accomplished on a shoestring budget, allowing the Center to work without pandering to big donors like many non-profits often do to maintain oversized budgets, is why I and so many others are dedicated members and supporters of the Center for a Sustainable Coast.
