    Re: “Fear of heights
You are totally discrediting yourself defending a project where peoples good intentions on urban design are being taken as an excuse for a greedy developer to overbuild.

We can and should be thinking about doing bike lanes and traffic calming on whitaker and drayton without a starland village!

Stacking 96 high priced 600sq ft 1 bed apartments 60ft each side of a historic church is not a legitimate infill project! its a slap in the face to people trying to do projects right.

The height is just one part of what makes this building so out of place on the street and in this area. It is not building density to make things affordable it is atempting to raise rents.

Building all this stuff with totally insufficient parking for use and having a parking machine where cars would have to queue back into a known accident blackspot and claiming your want to promote alternative transport is just bs.

Another aspect of building as high as 5 stories you have to dig down and theres is no way those oak trees and roors will survive along 2115 Bull St with that building plan.

This sort of overbuilding if allowed sets a horrible precident for the whole area, you realy should know better Jason especially with a developer that tried to rezone the whole district to allow 60ft hotels and all sorts we all agree is not needed here.
