This technical Baltimore indie band can’t seem to decide if they’re playing modern metal, alt.rock or emo-influenced pop-punk. That’s cool. There’s enough of each genre for tons of listeners of different stripes to grab on to these guys. They’ve opened for Trapt, Saliva and Papa Roach, plus their new CD was mixed by 311’s drummer. Josh Wade
This acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter only got into music a few years back, but his expressive soul voice and extremely rhythmic delivery sounds very natural and lived-in. Comparisons to his avowed influences John Mayer and Atlanta’s David Ryan Harris may be unavoidable, but he seems filled with the potential to take things much further in his own direction.
