House, First Installment -- In this unique art event by HOUSEART, eight local and international artists install works in seven rooms of a 1920 Victorian house in the Thomas Square Historic District prior to its renovation and restoration.
The show runs April 1-3 at 1502 Habersham St. at 31st Street. Opening reception is Friday April 1, 7-10 p.m. Hours Saturday and Sunday noon-4 p.m. Free and open to the public. Pasteurized For Your Pleasure -- Starland Center For Contemporary Art hosts this exhibition from March 16-31 at 2428 Bull St. (between 40th and 41st). Reception is Friday March 25, 6-9 p.m. Show features a diverse yet homogenized selection of works by 14 SCAD students; including paintings, assemblage, sculpture, printmaking, film, fashion, and new media art.

Boxing: In the Ring, In the Life -- Aaron Bibles black and white, documentary style photographs explore the emotional authenticity of the people who are the boxing world of a small local gym. Through March 31st at the DAC Gallery at One East Broughton Street in Savannah.
Innocence -- Sabrina Manganella Simmonss photography exhibit, a documentary project about her young daughters, is on display at the newly re-opened Starlander Café, 11 E. 41st St. The show will hang through March.
Womens History Month Exhibit -- Show at the Sentient Bean on Park Avenue celebrates Womens History Month with oral history and photography by Ann Curry, Imke Lass & Joanna Knox
about Savannah women and the evolution of womens rights. March 1 through April 10.
A Different Point of View -- Iron and wood furniture by Robert Evans at the Alvida Art Gallery 7303 Abercorn St. one block south of Eisenhower in Upchurch Centre. New works by local artist Evans feature one of a kind functional works made from iron and wood, melding form and function into unique pieces. Gallery hours are Mon-Thur, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Fri - Sat, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
