Uncomfortable Truth Incoming: As much as we bash various City of Savannah programs here, the truth is that the Park Savannah app is one of the best things they’ve done in a long time. You may not support the move to double parking rates and expand paid parking hours to Mon-Sat until 8 p.m., but the new app does make it a lot easier to navigate. There’s something strangely comforting to be able to look at your phone and see your current parking literally counting down by the second, and have the opportunity to feed the meter without actually feeding a meter.
