The Collective Face continues to provide world-class theatre with their stellar ensemble, and Grey Gardens was certainly no exception. A musical (Collective Face’s first) based on a documentary of the same name, Grey Gardens chronicles the fall of Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and daughter Edith Bouvier Beale, cousins of former First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, as they shrink from aristocratic life into reclusiveness in their decaying estate. Maggie Lee Hart and Mickey Dodge simply shone in their lead roles, flexing their acting chops even further when they swapped the roles of Big Edie and Little Edie in the second act.
