Bonnie Blue, Danka @Barrelhouse South

Updated September 20, 2016 at 11:35 a.m.

BARRELHOUSE South and Lively Up Entertainment team up to bring a stacked double-bill of cross-genre rock.

Danka, hailing from Jax Beach, Florida, blends reggae and punk and fuses it with Southern roots and blues for a definitively Florida sound. Formed when its members were just high school kids jamming after class, Danka has been at it for eleven years, touring nationally and supporting the likes of Slightly Stoopid, Fishbone, Agent Orange, Dick Dale, and more. They’ll hit the studio in the autumn to work on new material to share with their fans.

Fellow Floridians Bonnie Blue have appeared at festivals like Magnolia Fest, Wanee, Swamptown Get Down, and more, sharing their mix of jazz, soul, blues, country, and rock.
