Call for Entry: Modern Celebrity

Sulfur Studios invites artists working in all media to submit portraits of celebrities, rock stars, pop culture icons, and literary characters for the upcoming juried exhibition “Modern Celebrity.” Whether through talent or train wreck, fame or infamy, these personalities have wormed their way into our collective conscious. What makes them so engaging and why do we care? Artists are encouraged to take an expansive view of the medium of portraiture. Three dimensional, abstract and experimental work is welcome.
