Mayor Van Johnson, other local dignitaries and members of Oak View Group, the management company for the brand new Enmarket Arena, held a ribbon-cutting and community celebration day with an open-house feel for the public on Saturday, Feb. 5. Guests lined up outside to see what the new sports and entertainment palace—the largest municipal project in Savannah’s history—had to offer in the way of amenities.
