The Coastal Green Team Summit, now in its second year, is an opportunity for coastal communities of faith to gather and discuss environmental stewardship and energy efficiency. Dr. Matthew Sleeth will offer a keynote address at the beginning of the event followed by a meet and greet with attendees. In addition to his presentation, Coastal Green Team Summit attendees will have the chance to attend several educational workshops from organizations like the Caretta Research Project – focused on protecting loggerhead sea turtle nests on Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge – and enjoy a sustainably-sourced, low-waste lunch from Le Café Gourmet in Savannah. One Hundred Miles, whose mission is to protect and preserve Georgia’s 100-mile coast through advocacy, education, and citizen education, is co-hosting this event. Tickets to this event are $25.
