Concert: Choral Evensong

Prelude music will feature Audrey Allgaier on flute and recorder, in the music of Homilius with organ. In this season of Advent, Organist/Choirmaster Steven Branyon will lead the St. John’s choir and guest singers in the third of seven evensongs. In the offerings will be the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in F by Dyson, a pearl of tranquillity in contrast to more vigorous works.
