Conspirator fireworks are Wednesday night

Savannah-Chatham Police say that crew of the Robert Redford-directed The Conspirator will be detonating "low-level fireworks" this evening in Orleans Square downtown as part of the shoot.

A police spokesperson says, "You may hear the fireworks once it gets dark, but they will not continue past 11 p.m."

The movie's film permit allows them to detonate fireworks until 11 p.m.
