‘Countdown’ Rose B. Simpson exhibition premiere
See the totemic human-scale figurative sculptures of artist Rose B. Simpson, a member of the
Pueblo tribe whose work is informed by the indigenous nation’s culture of clay pottery. In her
new ‘Countdown’ exhibit, Simpson displays works of two-dimensional laser-cut metal formations
carefully aligned with matching vinyl designs placed on the window of each SCAD Museum of
Art Jewel Box. On view from Jan. 19 through June 26.
