Daisy STEM Day

Daisy STEM Day is a fun-filled, high-flying day of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education for girls in kindergarten and first grade. Participants will build water rockets with bubbles and make a flying machine to take home. Georgia Tech-Savannah is partnering with the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia to ensure that girls in Georgia receive the best possible preparation in STEM as they seek their place in the modern world, since male students are three times more likely to be interested in STEM majors and careers and women comprise only 12 percent of U.S engineers.
