From leaning out of helicopter doors over the Savannah River, to crouching knee-deep in mud with the wild horses of Cumberland Island, fine art travel photographer Douglas Stratton has spent years capturing the untouched beauty of the South. On Sept. 4, he will present his work at the opening of his solo exhibition, “Coastal Empire” at 110 West Broughton Street.
